The 3rd Volume of ’15 Bebop Etudes Over Jazz Standards' adds some great Standard Chord Progressions to the mix. Like it’s predecessors (volumes 1 and 2) the contents in these studies have been designed to give all levels of improvisers melodic avenues through many different sets of chord changes. With each etude being a unique study over a new set of changes, you will start to hear pieces of language in new contexts that will lead your ear and fingers to new places when improvising. Mastery of these studies at a variety of tempos is sure to glean new insights to approaching harmony in an engaging way.
